Aristo Artisans Co. was founded in 2010 by Alex Sukhomlinov, owner and founder who brings over 40 years of experience in European style architectural decor and ornamentation. Alex learned his mastery and unique skills in his home country in the Ukraine. His artistic talents come naturally and he does not use any machines throughout the decor production process. We pride ourselves on creating unique decor and ornamentation 100% by hand, “the old-fashioned way” and we never use CNC or 3D machines.
Aristo Artisans Co.’s specialization is architectural decor for interiors and exteriors. We work on a wide range of spaces including private residences, restaurants, hotels, retail stores, home offices, home theatres, historic building conservation, gardens and more. We provide unique interior decor for walls, ceilings, panels, furniture customization, exterior and facade decoration.
Aristo Artisans Co.’s workshop studio in Surrey, British Columbia is a local Canadian manufacturer and installer of European decor. All panels and elements are unique and completely made by hand in BC. For production of decor elements we use a special formulated flexible polymer rubber blend from the United States. This material is long-lasting material with modern technology. Common moulding materials such as gypsum, plaster and polyurethane (foam) often crack over time and can be extremely difficult to install. We have spent decades researching and testing the highest quality material for our decor which is durable, stainable, flexible and easy to install.
